The 68HC711KS2 microcontroller combines the M68HC11 CPU with high-performance, on-chip peripherals. The 68HC711KS2 contains features including RAM, EPROM, EEPROM, ADC, PWM, and a slow mode feature. The 68HC711KS2 is a pin-for-pin compatible device with the 68HC711KA4 device series. With the exception of the slow mode feature, the operation of the two devices is identical. A fully static design and high-density complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (HCMOS) fabrication process allow KS-series devices to operate at frequencies from 4 MHz to dc.
